Our security officers are NYS Department of State Licensed Security Guards that protects property and community residence by maintaining a high visibility presence. Our guards are trained to deter illegal and inappropriate actions, observing for signs of crime, fire or disorder; then taking action and reporting any incidents to our client and emergency services when needed
Patrolling
Patrolling is a large part of a security officer’s duties. 911 Security utilize a guard tour patrol system, which require regular patrols. These patrols can be logged by use of mechanical clock systems that required a key for manual punching of a number to a strip of paper inside with the time pre-printed on it.
Wand System
911 Security also utilizes the SilverGuard electronic wand system which is light weight, easy to use, and has downloadable logging capabilities. The Security Guards patrol are recorded onto the wand and stored in our computers database.
Video Monitoring
In addition to patrolling 911 Security Guards are trained in monitoring video cameras, watching alarm systems, take accurate notes, write detailed reports, and perform other tasks as required by the clients they are serving.
